(4) Clause XIII (Legislative Council)

Provision has been made for the appoint-

mant of Official Members by the Govarner

in pursuance of Instructions, thus

obviating the necessity a Royal

Warrant.

(5) Clauses XIV and IV. (Legislative

Council Provisional Appointments).

These clauses have been amplified upon

what are now the usual lines.

(5) Claus. XVI (Unofficial Members

of the Legislative Council. Vacation

of seats and re-appointment) A proviso

has been added to the affect that if

a provisional appointment is immediately

followed by a definitive appointment

the six year term of office shall date

from the former appointment.

(7) Clauses XVLL and XVIII. (Legis-

lative Council. Seats declared void in

certain cases. Acceptance of resign-

ation of Unofficial Members). These are
